Donations are accepted through the Viper Vanguard Band Boosters, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and registered Florida Charity for the exclusive benefit of the Lake Buena Vista band program. 100% of your donations are used towards the direct benefit of band students.
Your Help Makes a Difference
We have great support from Lake Buena Vista High School and Orange County Public Schools. However, the costs of running a successful performing arts program far exceed the budget that the school provides and the participation fees that students pay. It’s expensive to run an award-winning music program which enriches the lives of our student performers. That’s where the Viper Vanguard Band Boosters step in, to support our students, directors, and staff with the resources they need to be successful.
Your donations help fund some of these needs, including:
- Supplying music, arrangements, licensing fees, and curriculum material
- Assisting with instruments and equipment so all students have equal access to resources
- Providing transportation to performances so that all students can participate
- Furnishing uniforms, costumes, shoes, and concert wear so our performers look their best
- Providing scholarships to cover band fees for financially challenged families
- Providing students with essential meals and beverages during rehearsals, camps and performances
- Paying competitive event entrance fees
- Covering costs for clinicians that work with our student performers
- Purchasing equipment needed to support performances that is not provided by the school
- Recognizing the outstanding work of our students through awards and annual banquets

What do the Viper Vanguard Band Boosters Support?
As costs continue to increase, student fees and school budgets don’t cover all of the expenses needed to fund an award-winning band program. In 2024, the Boosters supported the Lake Buena Vista High School Band with expenses, including over $13,400 of the following:
