I hope this email finds you well and enjoying your summer!
A reminder, next week we will “officially” start our 2024 Marching Band Season with Band Camp, starting Monday morning at 8am.
The schedule for the first week is Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm. The second week will run Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Friday, August 2nd we will have a band parent meeting (mandatory) at 6pm, followed by our preview performance of our 2024 show.
A few reminders about camp:
- ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE THEIR PHYSICAL PAPERWORK COMPLETE and UPLOADED online before we start camp. The instructions for this process are on the band website,www.lbvvanguard.org/athletic-clearance
- All members should come to camp with the following items: Instrument, Comfortable athletic clothing, athletic shoes, REFILLABLE WATER JUG, sunscreen, and a hat. We will be outside in the mornings and mostly indoors in the afternoons.
- Please be prompt in arriving to camp on time. 8 am start really means 7:45 arrival. 6pm will be a hard and fast stop, I WILL NOT RUN OVER TIME. Please make arrangements to have students picked up by 6pm.
